This is a men's super rare 18k Rose Gold Rolex Dato Compax Ref 6036 wrist watch, circa 1951. The watch features a two piece 18K rose gold "oyster" case with a screw down back and round pushers. It has a rare exotic black dial with applied rose gold pyramidal indexes and Rolex logo at 12 o'clock. It has an outer minute/seconds divisions with fifth of a second and Arabic five minute/seconds numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers, outer blue painted graduation for the days of the month, apertures for the days of the week and the months (refinished). It has a high grade Swiss Rolex Valjoux 72C nickel-finished lever movement, 17 jewels that is in good running condition. The watch is in overall excellent condition. The rose gold model is exceedingly rare and with a black dial combination it is most likely unique.
