Rare 19th Century POLYCHROME SCRIMSHAW WHALE'S TOOTH measuring 5 3/4 inches in length, front Decorated with a full rigged American ship under sail within an American flag draped and festooned cartouche, the bottom flanked by an anchor and cannon, all beneath a spread-wing American eagle with a Union shield. The back is decorated with a classic sail boat, Length 5 1/2 inches, base 3 1/2 inches. The tooth is in excellent condition.
