MK Personal Collection Super Rare 18K Yellow Gold Patek Philippe Automatic Wristwatch Ref 2526 Circa 1958. This fine and ultra rare men's Patek Philippe wristwatch Ref 2526 is in a two piece 18K yellow gold case with a screw down waterproof back that measures 45mm x 38mm (Serial #2.606.XXX). The watch features a Cal. 12-600 AT, stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 30 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronisms and 5 positions, shock absorber, self compensating Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator and a 18K yellow gold rotor that is in good running condition. (Serial #766.425). It is topped with a mint condition original white enamel dial with applied gold stick indexes and sub-seconds (no hairline cracks). As you can see the watch is in overall excellent condition. The Ref. 2526 was launched by Patek Philippe in 1953, starting at serial number 760'000. It is assumed that Patek Philippe produced the Ref. 2526 in 580 pieces. Most of them with an enamel dial, as follows: - 20 examples in platinum - 30 examples in white gold - 50 examples in pink gold - 480 examples in yellow gold.
